Meet the Author - new for Autumn 2009, Synthesise offers you the opportunity to meet and discuss their work with authors Caroline Brazier ('Guilt') on Friday 4 September at 7.30pm, and Stepanie Sorrell ('Depression as a Spiritual Journey') on Tues 20 October at 7.30pm. Synthesise is a not for profit organisation based in the North West of England and founded in 2007. At the core of our organisation is the motivation to promote transpersonal values for personal, community and organisational development. The word “transpersonal”, for us, is a shorthand way of talking about the connections we have with others, about the sense of the spiritual in our lives, and about the spiritual manifesting through relationship, work and everyday life. The implication of living transpersonally is that our greater connection with each other supports us to work for change, for a more sustainable way of living together. Towards a world that works for everyone.
Whilst our current focus is to provide a range of courses and workshops, we are also keen to develop a community of interest, a supportive network of people with a shared vision. Do let us know if you would like to be on our mailing list, by going to the 'contact us' page.
The pupose of our programme is to provide opportunities to explore how transpersonal approaches can make a difference in our lives. Having recently reviewed our range of activities, we are currently focussing on offering a selection of evening seminars and events, to inspire and inform.
